We are located inbetween Oswestry and Shrewbury with excellent links to the welsh border.

We have options for hard standing and well maintained grass pitches both on a seasonal or pay nightly basis. All our pitches come serviced with an electric hook up.

Where Shropshire meets Wales 

Enjoy our peaceful, family run site set in the rolling pasturelands of Shropshire providing you with an excellent base from which to explore the area by car, foot, cycle or public transport.                   

The north loop of the Shropshire Way covers 297 miles of stunning countryside with extensive views of hills and plains which passes within one mile of the site. Walkers and cyclists can also enjoy way-marked trails in Nesscliffe County Park.

There are two World Heritage Sites within easy reach; Ironbridge Gorge and Pontcysylite Aqueduct. You can also visit the stunning Pistyll Rhaeadr Waterfalls, four National Trust properties and five Heritage Railways.

Nearby attractions with something for all the family include the British Iron Works, Park Hall Countryside Experience, Whittington Castle, Action Scott, Wroxeter, Lake Vyrnwy, Ellesmere and RAF Museum, Cosford.

Food, Flower, Music, Walking & Literary Festivals take place throughout the year at Oswestry, Shrewsbury & Llangollen.

Access

Our site is easy to access and is located just off the A5. Local bus services run every hour to Shrewsbury and Oswestry and stop a short walk from the site. Timetables for these services are available to view on Arriva bus website.

Eat Local

There are many village pubs located a short drive away from the site. Shrewsbury market hall is open Tuesday- Saturday each week and is full of eateries, stalls and shops. Oswestry has a street market every Wednesday and Saturday. We also have 2 village shops, One in Knockin and the other in Kinnerley.

Travel by Tanat Valley Coaches

We have a local bus stop right out side the main entrance to the campsite You can travel to Oswestry and Shrewsbury every hour. Please see Tanat Valley website for the bus timetable. 

There is also a park and ride service on the outskirts of Shrewsbury, in Bicton Heath, which operates Monday to Saturday and travels into the town centre.
